Bonsai

This work is inspired by the “Bonsai” trees found at Wat Arun, reflecting the aesthetic of early Rattanakosin—a period marked by vibrant trade between Siam, China, and India.

Textile patterns from China and India are reinterpreted through the organic forms of Thai bonsai, creating a new multicultural expression that celebrates harmony in diversity and the beauty born from cultural exchange.
